The ALO will perform at the Georgia State University Public Interest Law Association Annual Auction, from 7 pm to 8 pm. on February 23, 2008. The event will be held at the Georgia Railroad Freight Depot, 65 Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, SW, Atlanta, GA. April 24, 2006 at 7:15 pm The Atlanta Lawyers' Orchestra, a community orchestra, will be playing music composed by Abe Gerson, a Holocaust survivor and musician who lives in Atlanta, as part of the Cultural & Spiritual Commemoration of the Holocaust offered to the entire community by The Atlanta Rabbinical Association from 7:15 pm ? 8:15 pm on Monday, April 24, 2006 in the Holocaust Memorial Garden, Ahavath Achim Synagogue, 600 Peachtree Battle Avenue, NW, Atlanta, Georgia 30327. Mr. Gerson will be playing violin with the ALO at this event. This commemoration also will include inauguration of The Holocaust Scroll on the 60th anniversary of the Kielce Pogrom, the Ahavath Achim Choir, interpretive dance and a poetry reading. The Holocaust Scroll contains personal recollections of Holocaust survivors.
